Scott joined the LHD team in 2014.

Scott joined LHD’s growing team in March of 2014. Most of the time, you’ll find Scott hard at work developing customized financial strategies to meet the needs LHD’s mid and large sized clients. He is particularly skilled at quickly getting to the root of a client’s needs and delivering a unique solution to meet those needs. Not only is Scott a wiz when it comes to analytics, but he possesses the unique ability to explain complex ideas and principles in a way that others can understand.

Scott has several years of experience in the employee benefits arena. Prior to entering the health care benefits industry in 2012, he spent several years working for an actuarial consulting firm completing valuation of work for large pension plans. His experience in actuarial consulting provided a strong foundation for his ability to build strong financial and predictive models for LHD’s clients.

Scott enjoys getting to know his clients so that he can better understand their unique qualities, in order to deliver solutions that meet the financial needs of their business and the needs of their employees.

In his free time, Scott enjoys running, lifting weights, movies, concerts, and traveling the world with his lovely wife. They welcomed a baby boy to the family in early 2020!

  • Work experience
  • 2014-
    Scott joined the LHD team as a Financial Analyst to help the mid-market team improve their analytic processes & procedures, and he developed financial models for self-funded employers. In 2017 Scott moved into his current role as a Senior Account Executive. Scott oversees financial, strategic, and account management responsibilities for mid-market employers, as well as the training and growth of other Account Executives at LHD.
  • 2012-2014
    Scott then worked as a Financial Analyst with a local Indianapolis benefits firm, rounding out his knowledge of employee benefits by expanding his health & welfare related knowledge.
  • 2008-2012
    Scott began his career as an Actuarial Assistant, working at an actuarial consulting firm in Indianapolis. Scott developed valuations for pension plans and calculated retirement benefits for employees at large employers.
