Susan Van Hoosen, CCWS, CHC

Population Health Strategist

As Population Health Strategist, Susan manages and advises clients in population health and wellness strategies. She is a Certified Corporate Wellness Specialist, Certified Well-being Promoter, Certified Health Coach, a Certified Meditation and Mindfulness Teacher, and a Certified Yoga Instructor. She brings a wealth of wellness-related experience having worked as a Health Coach and Wellness Consultant for Inspired By Fitness, a company that she founded, and most recently as the Health, Wellness and Productivity Director for a local benefits firm.

Susan’s experience in the health and wellness industry helps her understand the needs of diverse employee populations and employers to strategically design, manage, and execute effective corporate wellness and population health programs. Working with consumers for a number of years also helps her understand the importance of healthcare consumerism as it relates to engagement in health programming and behavioral change.

Susan has been recognized for her philanthropic volunteer service and leadership work by United Way of Central Indiana, Greater Indianapolis Habitat for Humanity, The Julian Center, IndySHRM, and Fishers High School Trent Van Hoosen Memorial Scholarship Program.

In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, writing, time outdoors, traveling, and yoga teaching vacations.

Susan graduated from West Virginia University with a B.S. in Journalism, and has published the book, “One Bite At A Time, A True Story of Transformational Change & 7 Life Lessons Learned.”
