Kayla LaBarr is a Client Service Representative at LHD Benefit Advisors. New to the benefits industry, Kayla is responsible for supporting small market groups with renewals, marketing, and any daily service issues that may arise.
Prior to joining LHD, Kayla worked as a Speech Pathologist for organizations such as Indiana University, MSD of Decatur Township, Theracare Inc., and Mini Minds LLC. She is looking forward to gaining more industry knowledge, and applying her experiences/knowledge as a provider when communicating with clients.
Outside of the office, Kayla enjoys painting, reading, and biking on the Monon.
As a dedicated Indiana University Alumni, one of Kayla’s favorite places on Earth is Bloomington, IN — she loves to visit campus and visit family in the area.

Kayla joined the LHD team as a Client Service Representative.

Kayla continued in Speech Pathology roles at both Theracare, Inc. and Mini Minds, LLC.
- 2020
Kayla started her career with the Westfield-Washington School District as a Speech-Language Pathology intern, where she provided speech therapy for students. The following year, Kayla joined the Speech-Language Pathology team at MSD of Decatur Township.

Kayla spent just over a year as an American Sign Language tutor, helping others learn more about American Sign Language and Deaf culture.
- 2018-2020
Kayla furthered her education with a Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from Indiana University.
- 2014-2018
Kayla earned her Bachelor of Arts in Speech & Hearing Sciences from Indiana University.
